In the course of project implementation:
- the team of consultants which joined the International Trade Promotion Department of Kaliningrad Regional Economic Development Agency was shaped;
- training programme “Development of International business cooperation by small and medium-sized enterprises” was elaborated;
- ITPD consultants passed the training course under guidance of Russian and Lithunian experts in the field of business internationalisation;
- invitations, questionnaires, communication plan and selection and evaluation procedures were elaborated, selection of companies for participation in the project made;
- each selected company identified one of its managers for further work in the project;
- managers passed training on business internationalisation under guidance of ITPD and project experts;
- project promotion leaflet published in Russian and in English;
- trade missions to Lithuania, Latvia and Poland were implemented with participation of 17 enterprises. Overall, more than 50 representatives of companies, NGOs, business support structures and local authorities took part in project activities;
- field seminars in municipalities of Svetly, Gusev, Gvardeysk for representatives of manufacturing, consulting companies and business support structures were delivered;
- a brochure on business internationalisation in Lithunian, Russian and English was published containing materials elaborated by project experts and consultants;
- regional mass media ensured coverage of all key project activities, newspapers and magazines published acrticles on business internationalsation;
