From March until June 2007 ITPD consultants and managers from selected Kaliningrad SMEs (over 20 people in total) passed training “Development of International business cooperation by small and medium-sized enterprises”, and were awarded relevant certificates.

  • How to do business in Europe, intercultural environment and communications
  • Macroeconomic overview of Kaliningrad region’s export-orientated sector. Export potential. Review of export-orientated companies

In the period of June 2-10, 2008 project experts and ITPD consultants implemented field seminars in municipalities of Kaliningrad region – Svetly, Gusev, Gvardeisk. The seminars were attended by representatives of manufacturing and consulting companies, business support structures, and municipal authorities. These activities were attended by nearly 50 participants. The key objective of these pilot activities was to draw the attention of business circles and authorities to the opportunities provided by internationalisation of Kaliningrad SMEs in existing conditions amid discussions of possible implications for SMEs of Russia’s forthcoming accession to the WTO.
